Yes, all natural stone needs to be sealed. The sealer penetrates the stone and provides a barrier. This allows you time to clean up spills.

2. Can marble and stone be used outside?

Most products are suitable for exterior use, however, the surface is treated by flaming it or brushing it to add a non-slip texture which will comply with by-law regulations.

3. Can marble be used as a kitchen benchtop?

Marble has been used for many many years as benchtop and vanity tops. It is also sealed to provide added protection. The worst things to cause problems are acidic items, lemons, vinegars etc. These will leave a small etch on the stone. It does not mean your top is ruined, professional companies, such as Slique Ltd, can refresh your stone top and it will look as new.
